@slopok8225 I think the fact that you have accepted that it is okay to cry from the pain is very brave. I am a woman, but I too always say “I’m cool, I’m fine” when inside I’m fucking screaming.. It’s not right to hold it in. I think we should all pull together and have a fibromyalgia sufferer convention or something… Just imagine what all of us could do together!!!

@slopok8225 I wear gloves to type with an have to wrap my hands in small pillows when I sleep. Large pillow between legs and oh boy if my knees touch during sleep I will wake up screaming from it. I wish it were better but I have yet to find anything to make it even bearable. I just thank god I am not suicidal otherwise I would have been gone long ago! My next step is medical Cannabis in New Mexico and we’ll see how that works for me.

@slopok8225 I was in the Army for 8.5 years in Special Forces. I was always taught that men don’t hurt they deal with it. But after dealing with it for so long with nothing helping, I stopped Dealing with it and started crying just like everyone else that deals with it on a daily basis. I hit 11 of 11 tender points and my nerve pain in my arms and hands are at 50 out of 10. I can barely touch things any longer, even touching my own kids hurts me so bad now.

No pain killer make it go away for me. It’s such a hard thing to live with.
I wish people would understand more that’s it’s a real thing. Struggling with this condition all my life. When I was diagnosed it was like someone turned on the light.

Lyrica took me from crawling up stairs to running up stairs; from walking with a cane at 34 years old to walking miles. 5000 IU of Vit. D a day and exposing my skin to sun for 10 min. a day help tremendously. Vit. D. deficiency mimics same symptoms as Fibromyalgia. I limit my activities every day. I take Tylonol PM or Melatonin Vit. to sleep. I hope this helps your pain and suffering.

@Pichukid456 there were even some doctors who thought i was a whiney complaining baby and was threathning me with painful procedures..

hang in there, do what you can, take it easy, take all the breaks you need and WANT and then dont feel guilty about it either! Enjoy anything and everything.. it certainly helps..

Develop some passionate hobbies, it really keeps one motivated

@Pichukid456 We are one of the most responsible kids – one day we slack from taking care of ourselves, just cause we deserve as much as anyone else to take our bodies for granted, and we’ll have severe consequences. Over the years i learnt how to tell these idiotic people off..

  17. StuckWhereIAm says:

@Pichukid456 best is to ignore or reolly their ignorant comments.. I had this since i was about 12/13 too.. But at that age i thought it was normal, so u can imagine i was quite miserable, it helps to have the support of family and frnds (now i barely pay attention to what those other people have to say).. I get crazy angry if i get even a hint from someone who thinks i’m slacking or irresponsible..

  18. StuckWhereIAm says:

Bless them for making this video and putting the reason for fibro in such a concise and accurate form: less seretonin in the brain .. causes the lack of muscle relaxing during sleep… story of my life!

hope research does something ssssoooooooooooooooooooon (and good to know there’s other young girls around my age with this.. the rest of her families quite well aware like mine too.. by now)

damn shtraight about dem massages! i wished they were free and available 24/7 .. haha

  19. Pichukid456 says:

I’m 13 years old and I’ve been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia as well. I just wish I could at least feel slightly better so I could pay attention in school. Even though I told the school about my problems they seem to ignore it and say that its just “growing pains” or I’m just using it as a excuse to not do my homework. Its really demoralizing, hopefully when I start my physical therapy I’ll start to feel some relief.

Holly last word spoken here echos many suffers feeling and response….
“I’m just gradually trying everything I can think of in a hope the something will make it go away.”
But is is a problem that is very old.
he set fire to my bonesand I am weary and faint all day. Lamentations 1:13

After years of thinking I had Chronic Fatigue. I’ve been accurately diagnosed with CREST and Sjogrens’s Syndrome. They are autoimmune diseases. Anybody sleep with cough drops or hard candy at night?
