The New Fibromyalgia Remedy: Stop Your Pain Now with an Anti-Viral Drug Regimen

I was very disappointed in this book. I thought it would give me an answer as to what med my Dr. should order for my fibro. Instead it lists many lab tests that my doc should order to see if I test positive for any viruses & if so then my doc may be able to put me on an antiviral to help my fibro. It’s not at all what I expected from the book. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying it.

I like how Dr Dantini speaks in plain english and establishes that this is a “real” disease. I also liked the food allergy aspect as part of the therapy. We are what we eat!

If you have not read The New Fibromyalgia Remedy, or given the protocol a try, then you are not serious about feeling better. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1983 and although in serious pain had no desire to become a test subject for MD’s with no answers. Therefore, I coped. I took no medications. I filled my library with books on the subject. Soon, they all began to sound the same. Everyone had a theory. Then I finally became bedridden with pain and fatique, an unacceptable position for someone doing physical labor running a horse farm. Dr. Dantini’s book came out last year and I can’t begin to tell you how exciting it was to read of the food/viral connection. His rationale made more sense to me than anything I had read in the past, so I picked up the telephone for a long distance appointment. He’s easy to talk to because he has been there himself. My tests came back positive to just about everything. With Dr. Dantini’s help and my attention to following directions, guess what? I have my life back!

Dr. Dan Dantini’s book builds on Dr. Bihari’s discoveries of the anti-viral properties of Low Dose Naltrexone in “Up the Creek with a Paddle: Beat MS and Many Autoimmune Disorders with Low Dose Naltrexone” by Mary Anne Boyle Bradley.
Both Dr. Bihari and Dr. Dantini have discovered that anti viral medications have significant benefits for fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
Combine Dr. Dantini’s discoveries with the reports of James Schaller in “Babesia” and “2008 Lyme Disease Annual Report” by Rosner, and a new regimen for treating Lyme disease and Babesia is starting to take shape.

The New Fibromyalgia Remedy presents quite an intriguing concept about the cause of Fibromyalgia. The author is an Ear, Eye, Nose and Throat Specialist who has noticed some interesting trends among his patients with chronic fatigue and pain. His findings are based upon the premise that certain viral infections (in particular, Epstein-Barr Virus, Cytomeglovirus, Herpesvirus 6, and Parvovirus) often cause symptoms similar to those experienced by those individuals diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.
It would seem that these very common viral infections have the ability to stay within the human body unnoticed for years. In fact, the majority of the population probably has a number of like entities in their system. According to the author’s theory, for those that suffer with Fibromyalgia these infections get triggered and attack the system again and again, with each new flare up.
Treating these viral infections at each onset seems to have some potential. This is especially true when delayed (hidden cumulative) food allergies issues are also addressed. Unfortunately, at this time, the relief is temporary as 90% of patients have repeated relapses.
